1. Detail Infrastructure Design of EMAAR Development, DHA,Islamabad, Pakistan

This is a private sector project owned by EMAAR, in DHA Islamabad. Meinhardt was nominated as Principal consultant. The area covers approx. 300 acres development built up with different sectors.

Meinhardt was design consultant on approx. 40 acres land. That includes grading plans, Roads, Storm water drainage system, water supply, sewerage design, Underground Electrical, Fire and Irrigation system. Underground and overhead water tanks are also part of scope.

Role: Lead infrastructure design manager. Assist Client on planning of various areas. Supervise the design engineers and ensure timely deliverables for grading plans, road design & wet services. BOQ and tender package was also part of deliverable.

2. Infrastructure planning and detail design of 10,000 acres

MEGA EDUCATION CITY

Peshawar, Pakistan

PHA has nominated Meinhardt as principal consultant. This is a 10,000 acres (approx.) public sector project owned by Peshawar Housing Authority Peshawar. The proposed development envisaging a mega development serving as an education city with mixed development of residential and commercial and sports, industrial zones. The proposed land is 30 km from Peshawar.

Role: lead design manager on the project since inception. Assistance during master planning to architect, preparation of work packages as per hierarchy of roads, designing of major roads and quantity evaluation.

 

3. Planning and infrastructure planning for 20 km Expressway (Chamkani) ,Peshawar, Pakistan

PHA has nominated Meinhardt as Principal Consultant to plan & design a 20km Expressway from Chamkani to Link Road. Meinhardt conducted detail topographic survey to plan and study the feasibility of alignment of route. Multiple options were proposed considering the local development land acquisition constraints. Multiple presentations were presented to Client for approval.

Role: Lead planner, design manager on the project since inception. Assisted Chief Surveyor for surveying the area and its elements. Prepared and presented the feasibility presentations to Client for approval. An Also presented to Chief Minister KPK for approval.

 

 

 

 

 

4. Detail Infrastructure design of G-13 Markaz (20 acres) for

Federal Government Employees Housing Federation (FGEHF) ,Islamabad, Pakistan

G-13 Markaz is project by Federal Government Employees Housing Federation (FGEHF) Islamabad. The project site is located in G-13 Markaz and comprised 20 acres land for commercial hub. The development includes schools, markets, hotel, post office, petrol pump etc.

Role: Infrastructure design including roads, traffic circulation, and coordination of complete design with drainage, water supply, sewerage, electrical.

The scope includes complete project management on behalf of Client. Preparation of design documents, and tender documents along with PC-1.

 

 

5. Pakistan Deep Water Container Port, Keamari  Groyne

Karachi, Pakistan

The project is owned/ executed by a Hong Kong based company, Hutchison Port Holdings. This is an 84 hectares land being designed/ developed for container port handling/ operations. It contains five large berths within 1500m length. The design includes all yard facilities comprises Yard development, 36 MW Power House, Ground Improvement works for overall reclaimed land and development of complete Yard. The scope in construction of yard may include; Administration building, Custom house, Gate houses, In & Out gates, Crane workshops, Substations and allied infrastructures.

Role: Project coordination, document control, design management from all disciplines, technical clarifications upon understanding of complete project design, liaison with all stake holders including Client, Consultant in UK, Contractors.

 

 

 

 

 

6. Grade separation facility at Peshawar Morr, CDA ,Islamabad, Pakistan

The project is being planned/ designed to give unique engineering solution for the development of Grade Separation Facility at 9th Avenue/ Kashmir Highway at Peshawar Morr by easing the movements of approx. 50,000 vehicle/ day and facilitating residents of neighboring sectors also providing separate access route for up/ down country commercial heavy traffic.

Role: Planning and geometric design of facility incorporating with all ramps, drainage plans, traffic circulation plans.

 

 

 

 

 

7. 900-Acre Redevelopment of Phase-I, DHA

Islamabad, Pakistan

The project involved a redevelopment of 900-acre Phase-I DHA Islamabad. The project was planned to be a high-class development comprising residential and commercial plots, public amenities like schools, colleges, parks, playgrounds, sports complex, town halls, community centre, club house, mosques, utility buildings and other ancillary facilities.

The scope includes redesigning of roads, storm water drainage, sewerage, water supply and external lighting system. Detail supervision is also part of project’s scope.

Role:  Lead infrastructure road engineer on project. Primar0079 road planning, design criteria of road design, integration with other services, coordination, proposal of various new access roads and interchanges.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

8. Grade separated Interchange with Flyover & Underpass, DHA,Islamabad, Pakistan

This facility was designed to facilitate the residents of DHA Phase I Islamabad, and also creating a vital linkage between Phase I and Phase I Extension via Main Link Road. The Flyover & Underpass are dual lanes carriageway incorporating the local traffic with un-interrupted flow.

Role: Project planner and detail geometric design, traffic circulations, drainage plans, and proposals presentation to Clients.

 

 

 

 

 

 

9. Creek View & Creek Terraces, DHA, Phase VIII

Karachi, Pakistan

CVCT is a mixed-use development, spanning over 43 acres, comprises 14 luxurious residential condominiums and 6 state-of-the-art high rise commercial office towers and a utility block along with ground and basement car parking, club house and allied communal facilities.

Role: Infrastructure design of 43 acres plot including roads, traffic circulation, drainage.

The scope includes complete project management on behalf of Client. Quality control, procurements, and liaison with Contractors, Consultants, Client as well as vendors are also vital role as project manager.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

10. Up-gradation of British Council Library and Back-office support

Meinhardt was project managers on the Up-gradation of 25000 sft.  area which includes Civil/ID, Electrical & stat-of-the-art HVAC system.  The scope includes complete project management which includes review of design, procurement of General Contractor, value engineering, Quality control and assurance, and detail supervision. The project is of 6 months costing 130 million PKR in Karachi.

Role: Lead project manager. Detail design review, value engineering, kick off meeting with all stake holders, leading supervision team, time control, cost control, weekly meeting at site and on conference call with UK team, payment certificates verifications and issuance to Client.
